Andre Mercado is the 8th Grade District Champion for High Jump this year. He cleared a height of 5'4" last night without a scratch to win the title for 2018 to go along with a 7th grade title from last year.
I should have some additional photos later today of Mia Moreno who earned her own 8th Grade District Championship in the 100m Hurdles last night with a time of 17:43. She too added a second title to her resume.
These two athletes did phenomenal and sould compete at the varsity level as freshman next year. We are very proud of their accomplishments!
